Credit cards? What is a "statement balance" versus a "current balance"?

I called the 1-800 number for my credit card. And it says my current balance is $250.38 and that my statement balance is $330.21. So what is the difference and what amount do I owe to the company? Thanks|||Current Balance means that at the moment you called the credit card, your credit card balance was $250.38. And Statement Balance is the balance when they sent out the statement. Current balance could be less than statement balance if you make some payment after you received the statement, or it could be more if you purchase something more after you get the statement.
