Current balance and available balance?

On my debit card, the current balance is less than my available balance. I highly doubt i have any pending charges -- I haven't even used the card lately. Can someone explain this to me?|||By what amount? Do you have a line of credit (overdraft protection) attached to your account that might show up as available on your card?|||You current balance is usually the opening day balance. The available balance is up to the minute. The difference is any withdrawals or deposits from the start of the day until now.|||That usually means there are pending charges. Is your account online?
