What is the difference between Available Balance and Current Balance on my deposit slip from my bank?

What is the difference between Available Balance and Current Balance on my deposit slip from my bank?|||Current balance is the balance after all transactions posted at the end of the last business day. Available balance is the current balance + today's deposits - pending withdraws - any funds on hold. Funds on hold are usually related to deposited checks that have not 'cleared'.

Also note: NEITHER balance accounts for any paper checks you wrote that have not been received by your bank.|||~~The bank shows all the money you have in your account and that is the "current balance."

The available balance showing lower is because a deposit has not cleared so they are giving you a percentage of the deposit to use immediately, and once your deposit has cleared, then the full amount of it will be credited to your account.~~|||most banks require you to have a balance in the account to use it. ie your savings account, is usually about 50 dollars. so while you may have a current balance of 150 dollars only 100 is available to use and keep the account open. if you were to close the account you would get the entire 150.|||Current balance is how much money you have all together. It includes both cleared and pending deposits. Available balance is only the deposits that have cleared, and are available for use or withdraw.|||Current balance is all the money you have on deposit at any given time. Availlable balance is current balance minus the amount the bank witholds until all deposits have cleared.
